Rising 1 degree every two years lately, that's startling.

Yet the lobster catch was rumored to be way up in Rockport this past season. The signs were everywhere, twice as many pick-up trucks on the public landing, and they were newer trucks.

A friend that fishes here said many of the younger guys took on an extra stern man, some going with 2 onboard+owner. The year before it seemed like most fishermen were going out alone.

Sad to hear about the fishermen out of Gloucester who can't fish(Maine coastal Cod fishing has been dead due to overfishing for decades now).

But if(sounds like when) a collapse in the lobster catch(due to warm water disease) hits Maine, it will have such a devastating effect on this state.

Not a damn thing you can do about the rising temperatures out there now. Get ready for Black Bass season! How about blue claw crabs in Portland!!! That's outrageous. I hope they show up Penobscot Bay when the last lobster leaves. We'll have to change our lobster license plates.
