I have two pair of prescription polarized glasses --
The gray (or grey) are color-neutral and better for all-around use on bright sunny days. I'd suggest you go dark for those (80%-90% tint).
The amber lenses accentuate the red/yellow end of the spectrum and almost totally block the blue/UV end. It makes leaves look pretty spectacular in Fall and also intensifies the red in sunsets. I'd recommend you go a little lighter on the tint (70%) because these are better than the gray lenses when it's overcast or hazy. By blocking more of the blue/UV but less of the other colors they help clarify your view by reducing the scattered light and increasing contrast in the haze or even mild fog. These are my cloudy day glasses.
If you don't require "designer" frames you can do best online, or at places like Costco. I also recommend you choose a bigger style lenses for better protection.
