while boating with family in Texas... set down my glasses on a towel and dove in. Later when I got out my sister handed me the towel... and in doing so, flipped my prescription glasses right into the water. Went back the next day to where I thought it was, and dove on SCUBA... it was the dirtiest mud hole I had ever seen... cans and bottles all over the bottom with a sticks and stuff and thick layer of mud.

Since that day, I don't go on a dock without a leash on my glasses.
