I once bought a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers, I'm pretty sure I didn't have them a whole month and left them on the table in a breakfast joint on the way skiing. Got a pair of Oakley's, they went over the side and to the bottom. Since then I have gotten the cheapest sunglasses I could find, usually at the pharmacy by my house. All have either ended up in a watery grave or have been broken. Two summers ago a friend who works for the city streets department gave me a pair of safety sunglasses with a yellow mirrored lenses and a dark gray tint, they worked great. Last summer the screws fell out. My current and most favorite pair of sunglasses were purchased at Lowes this past summer..........DeWalt safety sunglasses with yellow mirrored lenses, dark gray tint, non polarized now equipped with a lanyard that goes around my neck so they don't end up in the water. Oh, I also keep a set of fishing sunglasses in the truck as a backup. Dark gray tint with a bifocal style magnifying lense at the bottom. That's supposed to be for tying on flies but also works as a nice pair of reading/sunglasses for old guys.
