It's supposed to run for 12 minutes on a charge. That may last a season when I think of how it might get used on our boat. The Li-ion batteries hold a charge longer than the old types so that could be the case.
We live with a small broom and tiny dustpan to sweep up sand, food crumbs, dog hair, and dust that finds it's way aboard during the season. That's handy both in the cabin and cockpit every few days when we're aboard. But a vacuum would keep stuff from going into the bilge. That would be better.
We'll see, maybe I'll throw it overboard. The broom never needs charging.
