One thing I've found different on the Li-ion's is the sudden death

get down into the boat, working - drives a screw one time, next time -dead. No warning. So best to have a second charged batt along if the place is hard to get to.

My first Li-ion battery was bought because I was working in a boat, the battery died and my spare was in the shop 15 miles away. Bought an Li-ion. Then realized it wouldn't work in my charger. So went looking for a charger, found one for $44.00!!! Then the young lady pointed out a deal- another drill, with charger and battery, for $49!!

Now I have three drills, two chargers, and 6 batteries Ah well, the joys of retail eh?
