I used Pergo on a bathroom floor

That was a mistake, as it didn't hold up to the daily dripping of water from the family exiting showers (even though we had a bath mat there and I had carefully sealed the edges and seams).

Also, Pergo MUST "float": The installation instructions specify a small gap be left on at least 3 sides of the room so it can expand/contract, which gets covered by your wall molding. If you need to put any fasteners through it, that can be the only point of attachment. In my case the toilet sits on top of the Pergo and it has pulled away from the edge calking at the shower base about 2 feet away.

So bottom line: I don't recommend Pergo for a cabin sole.
