One of our members set sail for the day and never returned. He's been gone for over a week on his Catalina 28. His car is in the club parking lot, his boat is out of the slip and that's all that is known. The CG went through the usual procedures but has very little to go on. You never think that a 28 foot blue hull sailboat could just "go missing" off the Southern California coast but we're not to far from the boarder and it starts to get real lonely real quickly once you cross.
