We are building up the capital fund at our club to replace our current travelift which I believe is rated for 40,000 pounds(22 tons).......465, yikes! Of course, considering our old Islander which drew 5'6" would hit bottom in the basin during low water, it's pretty doubtful we could get anything in the basin that would be all that big. I'm sure a 50 ton lift would be all we ever need with a comfortable safety margin.
