Two summers ago my dinghy engine died suddenly while underway. It was running strong then it stopped very suddenly. Investigation showed the gas was cloudy. Fast forward and skipping over the rowing and cursing and taking things apart: Everything was fine after I replaced it with fresh gas.

Edit: PS - it was E10 and had been purchased (and treated) about 60 days before. It had been stored outdoors in the sun on my stern platform.
