No Group 24, 27, 31, 4D or 8D flooded cell battery made for general use such as the Sams 4D is a true deep cycle battery. If you want a deep cycle use two 6V golf cart batteries wired in series. Or use an AGM battery as there is little or no difference in deep cycle or not.
