My biggest gripe is about smart phones... the hype is just so outrageous... every new cell phone is "so much better than... " and that comparison only lasts about a month or two. And the thing that really gets me is they are all trying to win this "thin" war, where as the consumer would love to have a phone that just stays alive for a whole week...

My next biggest gripe is all the hype around cable/satellite providers... NONE of which will give you the real price for a service before you sign up. There are always hidden fees and the like that they never mention... how did we consumers let it get to this... isn't there a congressman or two to whom we could write. Yeah yeah... "new and improved" so and so... sigh.
