We were completely against installing the tv in the salon & didn't have one anywhere but in the master stateroom where we could watch a movie or binge on tv series on a rainy day or after dark (OK, there was a 12 inch combo in the forward stateroom as well). Watching movies, tv series & documenteries was probably because I was a Director of Photography in my working life. But then, it is good passive entertainment & I was never an avid reader except for product manuals or to learn something like web design.

Nights would be boring without our foot of the bed combo tv/dvd player.
