Got the whole scoop. Spent a while chatting with Drew, out on the dock. (I think that was his name... has the BCC out there...)

Was originally looking to live in Langley, but the home prices were just a wee bit higher than I wanted to pay... at least for some sort of water view.

The wife is an artist however, so we will spend a bit of each week no doubt hanging around other artists in Langley and Coupeville. GRIN

Me, well glad I found Double Bluff beach and the Taproom... up until finding the Taproom, I thought I might have to stick to bottled beer...

We love the pace of life there, and as my wife puts it... "everyone is smiling."

Oak Harbor seems like a decent place to keep the boat... but that does put it about twice as far away from the house as it was in San Diego... so thought it would be nice to be able to bring it down to one of the coves in summer, from time to time. Might keep it at Port Townsend part of the year. There are so many different opportunities and places to explore... I am really looking forward to the move. "A new chapter...." as she says.
