He had no good words for it. Twice I saw him at the docks - pulling and pulling and pulling - until he could pull no more. Back to the mechanic/dealer, that says 'bad gas'. Fresh gas. Runs fine...at the mechanics.

Back at the docks,... pulling and pulling and pulling.....no luck.

Back from the mechanic, again, last I saw him, the merc was running. Bob was smiling. Hopefully, his new Merc is cured.

The worst part of his ordeal was, he had to row out a half mile to windward to get to his boat, in an inflatable. I watched him-twice. Tedious-like a dying moth flapping it's wings in the water, and going nowhere.

His face said it all. Now I know now why I don't see people rowing inflatables. It's humiliating!
