I had problems with my Tohatsu 6 4s when I first bought it. The local dealer's advice; avoid ethanol if at all possible and run all fuel out of the engine at the end of the day. I now buy ethanol free gas, use a fuel stabilizer and run the engine out of fuel after each sail. No problems in several years. Starts on second or third pull.
