We had a very soft grounding on a rising tide along the ICW south of Wrightsville Beach several years ago. The local SeaTow boat was out cruising for business just itching to get a line on our boat and extort an exorbitant fee. It was simply a matter of waiting a short while to float off. After rejecting his offers several times he finally went away.
