TSBB has always had a much higher volume of posts and the old code wasn't keeping up - there may have been some security issues too but I don't really remember. There were no updates to the old code and wasn't anything similar to move the forum to, so Phil proposed the change to the group. I think he originally proposed the sale of TSBB hats to support the new code but a lot of members said they'd rather just make a contribution.

I didn't even realize that the TSBB didn't have a link on the boatowners.com website until the current discussion came up. However, the TSBB does have it's own URL and if you google "trailer sailor" it comes up pretty high in the listings.
