The threaded lists are excellent for discussions. You can see the contributors and the forks at one glance. The "new" BBS style is best suited for question-and-answer forums, IMHO. Somehow I've been able to follow SA threads, though.

Wish I had ideas about attracting posters. While this list is full of long-timers, there's no onus on new posters that I can sense (at least these days).
