Well there is a lot of sailing adventure packed into the 200 pages of this book: hairy entrance into Ocracoke in 40 kt winds, flirting with a 70 kt nor'easter on the way offshore to Charleston and a 50' rogue wave, man overboard rescue- at anchor. Plus lots of drinking, partying and romance.
Maybe the hero's estranged wife in Raleigh got the best of this deal .
I enjoyed it very much, it was too short. But I just bought the Seaquel.
