Since Friday we went 45 miles on our Allied 36 (Westerbeke 46, 46 hp, 3 blade 18x12 fixed prop). Average boat speed around 6 knots with a fair bit of 7+, particularly Friday and yesterday. Total engine hours 0.9, all at 1,500 rpm or less. Fuel consumption about 1.5 quarts. We sailed all but about 3 miles. It is a sailboat after all. Sunday I took the powerboat out. 8.5 miles at 7 knots. I used about 1.25 gallons of fuel (my fuel tanks have sight gauges).
