Access time for the information, and the amount of concentration required to get the date/time and place doesn't hold a candle to a good charting app that overlays current arrows in real time with arrows that grow and shrink visually as you adjust the time setting; e.g. Coastal Explorer, or the Navionics app (to name just a couple).

Does it get any easier or quicker than this, especially if the charting app is already running?
