Has been for years.
Based on a British Admiralty Tide prediction formula it has been around for many years. At one time it was on a floppy disc (a real bendable floppy - remember those) and a hardcopy tide reference book from which you entered the tidal reference station data manually. Now it is a free download that contains the reference station data that can be selected from a list. You can also enter a location and it will list the nearest reference stations.
They were shut down at one time because the British Admiralty claimed copyright on the reference station data that they had accumulated over a long time - maybe centuries. A few years back they relented and released the info into the public domain. A very handy program to have aboard. I see that they now have an Android app available too.
