We are trying to find a dog... one that is small enough to easily carry onto a 27 foot boat, but without the typical small dog syndrome of having to bark at every little thing. Don't want one too small, as around here they call those "eagle bait." So something no bigger than say 40 pounds of weight, but not too small.

We like to walk a lot... so a dog we could take on long walks would be great. Oh and a dog that doesn't snore... so all the "squashed nose" varieties are out...

Anyone have any good suggestions?
