Roscoe the dock dog was a rescue from a local shelter a few years back. He is not the fuzzy variety like Tom has, smooth coat. He is a very friendly dog when Jim and Nancy are around but when left alone lets everyone that gets near "his boat" that he is on board. They usually keep him below when they are up at the pool, being they are powerboaters the AC unit is usually running if the weather is warm. Jim told me last season that they are at the point where they have to be careful NOT to say the word "boat" until they are ready to leave to come down to the club, otherwise Roscoe goes wild running through the house.
