The decks 10 years ago and it finely wore through. About 3 years ago I re-painted just the cockpit. I thought I did a good prep job but the second coat is lifting in a few spots and coming off in small 1/4 inch flakes. On the rest of the boat it's fine. It's even when I hit it with a hard stream from the hose.
