Obviously the photo is a grab from Bing but the unit I have is exactly the same but with a lanyard attached. I did find the attached photo as well, the large flares with the blue ring are smoke I believe, there is also a single white, single red and the triple red meteor. This is a more accurate representation of what I have, photo is of a sistership. I am curious just how many flares you would need to launch in order for the launcher to require cleaning?

The reducer "might" work for shotgun shells but I would never feel the need or that lucky.

Thanks for the input everyone, it is far better made than the orange plastic units, I think I'll update my flare inventory with some new Orions and keep it.
