Right, except no screws go back in. No screws in this deck, anywhere. All held with epoxy.

The idea is that there is no route for water intrusion. In fact epoxy has squeezed out all around the decking so there is an 1/8" uniform thickness of epoxy between the planks - all around. I suppose you could not caulk it and it would last quite a long time.
