() paint them, and their final resting hole, with epoxy,....try to line up the grain, and tap them into place, wait for them to dry,...chisel,.... I can't imagine doing this everyday, for a living.
Ipe adds it's own hazard. It's so hard it dulls plug cutters and counterbores in short order. Which means, first I need to do some sharpening.
To give me incentive, I'm estimating how many bungs are in BRILLIANT?
