OK, I should have supplied more info.....I was a sailor for 30 plus years....I went over to the "Dark Side" about 12 years ago because of some health issues with my wife. I now have a Tiara 38 Open. I have an open array on the boat now, so want replace it with another. The Domes are OK, but the open array provides a much narrower beam which enables you to pick out multiple targets that may show up as one with the domes. I also looked in the Latest and Greatest Solid State radars coming out now....They are not compatible with my 2 year old Garmin 7215 Chartplotter. I won't spend the extra $$$$ to replace an almost new Chartplotter that works great.
