Now that I'm back home and can post properly here are a few shots from last weekend. To tie this into sailing I'll preface by saying I took my mom to lunch at the yacht club for mother's day and then we went for a walk around a nature trail just down the road. Spring is a great time for photographing wildlife around here. There are always friendly chickadees
There seem to be more wood ducks than in years past. I love the colouring on these guys
Some friendly mallards as well, this couple just walked on down the path right beside us with a little quack and kept going

The ravens were a little more reserved and difficult to get a good shot but I like them so I'm throwing him in anyway
These red squirrels are little clowns
I've never seen a nuthatch hand feeding before so this one was fun
This downy woodpecker wasn't having much luck on this fallen tree
