      • If you clip the ties with a fingernail clipper, there will be no sharp corners. I keep one for that

  • Me too. I must be cutting off 3 old ties, to each new one I'm installing.
    • BTW, I use side cutters to remove the old ones. Never saw the self cutting until now.
