Because they're so easy to install, they tend to get overused over decades and decades. My wiring is much improved because of the new cockpit. I got rid of several 'mystery wires', and eliminated yards of extra wire. Amazingly, when I threw the main battery switches, it didn't all go up in flames.

    - If you clip the ties with a fingernail clipper, there will be no sharp corners. I keep one for that

  - BTW, I use side cutters to remove the old ones. Never saw the self cutting until now.
