Admiral and I went out for dinner this evening. We each ordered a glass of the house wine and noticed that although the price was as expected ($7 per), the portions seemed kinda skimpy. I only mention this as it's not the first time I've seen this - other restaurants seem to be doing the same thing.
Anyone else noticed this? It's enough to make me switch to beer. With draft beer, it's OK to ask the size of the mug - perhaps I should just start asking how many ounces are in a glass of wine? At least the meal was a good portion - brought home a bit of the seafood/chicken/sausage paella for lunch.
