I have a Moeller diesel tank that's too high for what I need and I'm thinking of cutting it down and rebonding using 5200. The bond will be near the top of the tank so not soaking in diesel all the time.

Mistake waiting to happen? Any better ideas for bonding a polyethylene tank together after being sawed in half or should I just abandon this crazy idea?
