Yes, I saw that too, but the question then becomes what is dry lift. The fuel lines and the pump are full of fuel, so it is not dry. What is the wet lift and why does it shut off as if it has reached the 2 psi rated head pressure? I would have expected it to just keep running, but not pumping anything. So I'm trying to understand how they work so I know if I have a defective pump or just the wrong one for the job.
If it is the wrong one for the job, what is the right one? The FRB series that have a dry lift of 4' are not recommended for heaters because they have too much output pressure.
