San Diego

Sounds like a great place to be anchored out Steve. We talked many times about coming back to San Diego, having lived there for many years. The weather is the best, sailing is wonderful and we really miss Roberto's Taco stands. BUT, the cost of living just makes it impossible to consider retirement back there.

As far as our club, it was founded in 1973 by a group of local blue collar folks that were looking for a way to keep boating affordable. It is run and maintained by the members, we have no paid staff. We were looking at reducing the fees in two years when the loan on our new floating docks will be paid off, but now are looking to order a new self propelled Travelift yard trailer so will be financing that for five years.
