Everybody thinks video, with drones, which is exciting. But still shots are nothing you can get, with an SLR on deck. With the advent of drones, I look at photo and wonder what the light (and shadows) would be like, taken from above.
Not always high altitude, like typical aerial photography, but just a few meters above.
This class at Maine Media Workshops, tempts me. I've mentioned it before. It fills up very quickly. I would bet that many of the students are pro photographers wanting to learn a new skill.
