Is that once the fridge makes its initial cool down after being turned on, which takes about 30 minutes, it only runs between 5 and 10 minutes an hour. That run time is in a single run. Mine draws about 3.5 amps on 12V, so if it runs 10 minutes an hour that is about 0.6 amp-hours per hour or 14.4 amp-hr per day. So your battery charger will only turn on once an hour for a few minutes. I find that my 50 watt solar panel keeps up with the fridge just fine all summer. Incidentally, if the fridge has a fair amount of stuff in it it runs less often. I keep at least a six pack in mine for that reason
