Coleman makes them for use in tents. I also saw them in Home Depot made by Mr. Heater. They are generally safe, but some venting is advised and I wouldn't go to sleep with one on. They use two-pound disposable propane canisters, and you can get about 5 hours per canister at ~5000 BTU setting.

Not ideal long-term, but good as a temporary measure.
