the mast light wires (http://www.marinco.com/product/dryseal-connectors), I get the ones without the flange mount, then I heat shrink over the connector. For my VHF, I make my connections with the RG-213 connectors and heat shrink over this. Then I bundle them all up, cable tie and suspend in the bilge ... my bilge is kept pretty dry so they don't get wet. For my wind (ST60), the cable comes out of the bottom of the mast and hooks to a terminal strip inside a small j-box like Maine Sail.
