Do a Bootcamp partition and start up the Mac as a Windows machine. That would solve a lot of configuration problems as I'd be using a Windows machine instead of a OSX machine that's emulating a windows machine.

Only problem with that is that I'd have to start all over as if it was a brand new computer and install everything. Seems like a big hassle just so I can get the 'Frequency Control Cable' to work.
