After researching both 'VMware Fusion' and 'Parallels' I discovered that 'Fusion' has problems with the serial to USB Keyspan adaptors. The new version of Parallels has upgraded support for this serial/usb adaptor setup. I also purchased a one incident support ticket $9.00.

Hopefully with all this I can get it to work. Parallels has a money back guarantee. If you don't like it after trying the new version of Parallels you have 90 days to cancel and get your money back. They say 'No Questions Asked'. So either I get it solved or I get my money back.
