I would like to put a few hundred high resolution JPGs on a DVD, which would run on an HD TV with a DVD player.
Ideally, make up the slide show, then add audio commentary, allowing me to set the length of display of each slide.
Microsoft has a freebie, but it seems most interested in cutting resoltion for compact files.
I have Power Point 2007, and it seems capable of the above. My experience with it has been making up business/engineering presentation of up to 25 slides or so, shown on a projector, mostly text and graphics with few photos.
Is PP a good bet for what I want to do with our sailing photos?
I do not even know whether Power Point can handle 100s of jpg's I have always found it OK for graphs and text, but clumsy with pictures.
