SD vs HD (link)

Sorry, just re-read that first line! Ooops

If you take ANY photos or video (at any size) , then convert it to any format that will fit/play on a standard DVD, it will be reduced to standard definition! It will NOT stay in High Def! It's the DVD beast. If the standard DVD is played in a newer DVD player, it might be what is called “Up converted” back to something close to HD, but it will not be as good as the original!

The only way to keep everything in HD format, you will need to save it to a Blu-Ray disk. OR, save it (as HD) to a hard disk and then play that file on your HD TV.

Just to do a standard DVD, go FREE and EASY! If you have a PC use Microsoft Movie Maker to generate the file, the use any FREE DVD burner program.
