Slide show software (link)

Neil,

IF the objective is to put the photos/music/talk on a DVD to play on a TV without you there (like to send to people), then think of using a video editing program. There are MANY of them for low or no cost. I use an old Ulead movie maker because I have a copy that came with a camera I got some time back. Most any video program will work and will handle hundreds of slides, panning and zooming on each photo, and multiple sound tracks, then output the file to a standard DVD.

If you are going to be there to run the slide show, just drop the photos as “.JPG” files on the DVD and use the remote control on many (NOT ALL) DVD players. MOST of them will show .jpg files.

If you need a slide show program, go to www.cnet.com click on downloads and type in “slideshow maker” and you will find hundreds of programs, many of them FREE!

Hope this helps.

Greg
