We ran this bar going into Mazatlan a couple of

years ago. It was only about 2 feet at the very most and it scared the hell out of us. I was able to get in between the waves and sneak around the end of the breakwater into the lee without much trouble but we swore that it would never happen again. This was taken looking back from inside the channel.
