still manned or not but the town will have lost a huge part of it personality if it's not. I was able to climb to the top of Loggerhead Cay light a few years ago and that's a view! We had to wedge ourselves up into the light through a small trap door in the floor at the top of a ladder up from the landing. The boat looked like a toy! It was quite impressive a what a hoot. It's been unmanned for years but we were able to make the climb as well as rummage through the old light keepers house. It must have been quite lonely out there on the end with the closest civilization Fort Jefferson.
