I thought it was only al bunch of old guys on the board, till I realised that I am even older

I am 66 and have built and owned 2 sailboats big enough to sleep on (4 and 47 feet) Sailed both transAtlantic. Also have owned 2 dinghies and 2 windsurfers.
When my wife and I cruised extensively in the 70's most other cruisers were our age.
The disconcerting fact is that they are still our age. We were only slightly over average age in Horta two years ago.

- 47 and 8 boats (we still own all of them!)
- Just turned 50 last week- 5 sailboats
- 59 and 6.
