The only boat I have ever owned is a Prindle 16 beach cat. I still own it and one of these days I'm gonna give it to the boy scouts or something when I buy a boat I can sleep on... strike that... sleep IN.

All my mono hull sailing has been on other peoples' boats. I have always been a member of one sailing club or another, and have used club boats or been crew on other boats.

Of course as crew, I have encountered owners that knew less about their boats than I did... which is an interesting situation.... owner standing there with hands on hips declaring "Do something!"
